To develop craft, strategy, language, logic, and arithmetic the mind must range back and forth along the line of past, present, and future. The ability to fashion a tool with the right hand issues out of the left brain and depends heavily on the ability to memorize a series of steps in sequence. The dominant hand is a specialized limb that is an extension of the sequential left hemisphere.
